Unseasonal rains have lashed various parts of the state and yellow alert has been issued in Mumbai, Konkan, North Maharashtra, Kolhapur and Sangli districts. Also, the possibility of rain is predicted in the eastern part of the country till 28th April.
Yellow alert has also been issued in Palghar, Thane, Raigad and Ratnagiri districts. Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be strong winds and rain at this place.
Strong winds are also expected in Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Nashik areas. Rain is also predicted in Marathwada and there is a possibility of hailstorm in Marathwada along with Vidarbha.
The Meteorological Department has said that there is no possibility of heat wave in any part of the state for the next five days.
