The theme for this year’s Ganeshotsav decoration competition organized by Kalyan Dombivli Municipality is ‘My Ganeshotsav Maja Matadhikar’.
To raise public awareness on the issue of voter registration, voting rights- empowerment of democracy, there is no substitute for voting to preserve democracy, efforts to increase the percentage of youth in the voter list, the reason we will vote, causes and solutions for the disaffection of urban voters have been suggested.
The first prize of the competition is one lakh rupees and the second and third prizes are Rs 51 thousand and 21 thousand respectively. An incentive prize of Rs 10,000 will be given to ten scenes each.
