Food and Drug Administration to take action against hotels in the city

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has started cracking down on hotels in the city. In the last 15 days, the FDA has taken action against 70 hotels and six reputed hotels have been directed to remain closed till they comply with the norms.
A man found a dead rat in the food at Papa Pancho Da Dhaba, a hotel in Pali. Taking cognizance of this matter, this action has been initiated. There are more than ten thousand vegetarian and non-vegetarian hotels in Mumbai.
Food preparation method, kitchen, cleaning, hygiene of employees, drinking water in these hotels are being inspected by ‘FDA’. In this action, the administration has taken action against 70 hotels in the last few days. These hotels have found errors in cleanliness. It also includes six famous hotels in Mumbai.
