The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has constituted a nine-member committee to remove the difficulties associated with issuing business licenses and bring transparency to the process.
The Municipal Corporation issues permits (licences) to citizens and professionals for various types of businesses. Additional Municipal Commissioner (Western Suburbs) Dr. Sudhakar Shinde was received.
Therefore, a committee has been set up to facilitate the licensing process on the lines of the procedures followed in the Income Tax or Parpatra department.
Citizens have been requested to send any suggestions in this regard to chief.bdd@mcgm.gov.in before August 20.
