The ‘Hutatma Smarak’ postage stamp is yet to be released

The postage stamp on the Martyr’s Memorial erected on November 21, 1961 in commemoration of the United Maharashtra struggle has not yet received the muhurat.
For the past 25 years, Mahadev Govind alias Bhau Sawant, president of the Samyukta Maharashtra Ladha Smriti Mandal, has been pursuing the Maharashtra government for the publication of postage stamps of the historical martyrs’ memorial. But this postage stamp has not been published yet.

was established. The Martyr’s Memorial is an inspiration that evokes the identity of Maharashtra, as well as the history of the United Maharashtra struggle.
On March 18, 2004, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the Deputy Chief Minister in 2006 sent a proposal to the Ministry of Telecom. On November 21, 2022, Sawant met Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and submitted a statement.
Meanwhile, Brother Sawant expressed his regret that the issue of Martyr’s Memorial Postage stamp has been pending for the last 25 years.
