Two Surya Kiran aircraft crashed in Bengaluru
In a major development, two jets of Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team today crashed due mid-air collision. The incident took place near Yelahanka air base in north Bengaluru region just a day before the much-awaited Aero India show.
According to state officials, one IAF Pilot found dead and two other officers have been shifted to hospital and said to be out of danger. The debris of Suryakiran aircraft located near ISRO layout but no major injuries caused to any civilians.
Prestigious Aero India 2019 will be held between February 20 and 24 where demonstrations of Suryakiran jets have always been the center of attraction.
