All is not well for Dr Shrikant Shinde in Kalyan East

The atmosphere in Kalyan East Assembly constituency is already heated even before the Lok Sabha elections. In an incident that took place there a few months ago, BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad had fired at Mahesh Gaikwad, the head of Kalyan East Shiv Sena Shinde faction, due to a personal dispute and on this charge, BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad is in Adarbadi jail.

The same Shiv Sena leader Mahesh Gaikwad is vigorously campaigning for Mahayuti candidate Dr. Shrikant Shinde from Kalyan Lok Sabha.

With the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, BJP first staked a strong claim on the Kalyan Lok Sabha seat. And after not getting the seat, when this seat was given to the Shiv Sena of the state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the news of his definate defeat was loudly propagated by bjp leaders.

The main reasons for this were that the issue of BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad from Kalyan East being in jail was raised loudly and a strong anti-political atmosphere was created in Kalyan East by putting the MLA’s wife forward.

Undoubtedly, for the last 15-20 days, an atmosphere was created in Kalyan East against Mahayuti candidate Dr. Shinde. But now everything seems fine. Every second or third day, meetings of BJP workers are being organised in different areas of Kalyan East for Mahayuti candidate Dr. Shinde, in which a good number of people are also attending.

BJP MLA from Kalyan East, Ganpat Gaikwad has also been elected as an independent candidate from here, which means that he has his own mass base and his own voters here.

BJP does not allow injustice to happen to its workers as well as its leaders. With this slogan, after the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, the BJP leadership of Kalyan district was seen with the family members of the jailed MLA Ganpat Gaikwad. Many dharnas and protests were also held. And there was a strong demand for not giving ticket to Dr. Shrikant Shinde. Now the situation in Kalyan East has become such that the entire BJP is on one side and the family of the jailed BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad is on the other side.

It has already been told here that Ganpat Gaikwad has also been elected as an independent from Kalyan East assembly constituency and he has a large number of followers.

If Dr. Shrikant Shinde faction moves forward without including BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad from Kalyan East in its clan by falling prey to the false deception of some BJP leaders or their dirty political games, then Mahayuti candidate from Kalyan East, Dr. Shrikant Shinde, will definitely have to suffer a huge loss in the voting.
