‘Swachh Mumbai Swasthu Mumbai’ campaign in Mumbai next month
Mumbai- Guardian Minister of Mumbai Suburban District Mangalprabhat Lodha informed that ‘Swachh Mumbai Swast Mumbai’ campaign will be implemented in 15 wards of Mumbai Suburban District next month.
Lodha was speaking in the meeting organized regarding the preparations of the initiative.
On this occasion, Mumbai Suburban Collector Nidhi Chaudhary, Additional Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Ashish Sharma, Solid Waste Management Officer of Municipal Corporation Chanda Jadhav etc. were present.
This campaign will be implemented by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and active participation of all government/semi-government/private organizations is required. Social work organizations, voluntary organizations, all departments of the government, citizens in fifteen wards of Mumbai suburbs should clean their premises, schools, colleges, police stations, public places, sea shores wherever possible in their respective wards. Lodha also appealed to donate as much time as possible on every Saturday and Sunday and implement cleanliness activities at the ward level.
Collector Nidhi Chaudhary said that this activity will be implemented in schools, colleges, co-operative housing societies, hospitals, public places and every government department under Mumbai Suburban district.
