Six new local trains of 15 coaches will be run by Western Railway from March 27. These 15 coach local trains will run between Virar to Andheri, Nalasopara to Andheri and Virar to Borivali.
Three additional coaches have been added to the 12-coach local running between Andheri and Virar. Six local trains of 12 coaches will be operated as 15 coaches from Monday.
Two of the six rounds are on the fast track. This will benefit the passengers on both the slow and fast routes. With the addition of six trains, the total number of 15 coach local trains on the Western Railway will reach 150 from 144.
