Governor Ramesh Bais appealed here that organizations like Ramakrishna Mission should work to build the character of the youth through ethical values.
Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Mumbai branch was inaugurated on Friday in the presence of Governor Bais at the Rangsharada Auditorium in Bandra. He was talking at that time.
Governor Bais also said that schools and colleges should encourage students to participate in adventure activities, sports, educational trips, visits to historical heritage sites, interaction with disabled students, visit places of worship of other religions to create a broad minded youth generation.
Governor Bais also said that Ramakrishna Mission Mumbai has done a lot of work through a modern hospital at Khar and a village development and welfare center for tribals at Sakwar in Palghar district.
On this occasion, Vice President of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math Swami Gautamananda, General Secretary Swami Suveerananda, President of Mumbai Math Swami Satyadevananda, Head of Narendrapur Center Swami Sarvalokananda, Member of Management Committee Rakesh Puri and heads of Ramakrishna Mission branches abroad were present.
