Megablock will be taken tomorrow (Sunday) on Central, Harbor and Western railway lines for maintenance and repair work.
On the Central Railway, between Thane to Kalyan railway stations, there will be a megablock between 10.40 am and 3.40 pm on the up and down express lines. Meanwhile, the local trains on the fast route will be diverted to the slow route.
Up and down between Kurla to Vashi on the Harbor Railway line
Megablock will be taken on the route from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm. As a result, the Down Harbor route from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Panvel/Belapur and Vashi has been cancelled. Also, the trips on the Up Harbor route from Vashi, Belapur Panvel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus have also been cancelled.
Special local trains will be run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Kurla and Vashi to Panvel station during megablock period. Transharbor services between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations will continue to run regularly during Megablock timings.
On the Western Railway, between Borivali and Jogeshwari railway stations, the megablock will be conducted on the fifth track from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm. Due to this, local flights have been cancelled. Due to the block on the fifth route, Ahmedabad-Borivali Express running on March 25 will run till Virar station and this train will be canceled between Borivali and Virar.
