In the state, the Shaktipeeth highway will now be connected to the temples of twelve districts

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis said today that the Shaktipeeth highway will be built in the state in the next few years and twelve temples in the state will be connected through this highway.
Fadnavis gave this information while presenting the state budget in the legislature.
Nagpur-Goa is a Shakti highway for which a fund of Rs.86 thousand 300 crores has been approved. From Pawanar in Wardha district to Patradevi in Sindhudurg district, the Nagpur Goa-Maharashtra Shaktipeeth highway will be constructed.
Fadnavis said that this 760-km highway will boost the economy of Marathwada and the development of the districts.
Mahur, Tuljapur, Ambejogai three Shaktipeeths in Maharashtra are going to be connected due to Shaktipeeth Highway. Along with this, two Jyotirlings namely Aundha Nagnath, Parli Vaijnath, Nanded Gurdwara, Pandharpur, Karanja Lad, Akkalkot, Gangapur, Narsobachi Wadi, Audumbar will also be added. The districts of Hingoli, Nanded, Parbhani, Beed, Latur, Dharashiv, Wardha, Yavatmal, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg will benefit from Shakti Highway.
