This is the budget that will remove the hindrances to the progress of the state in the last two and a half years and will take Maharashtra to a higher level in the country. “Panchamrit” in the budget is accelerating the development cycle of Maharashtra.

Ajit Pawar (Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly)
The state budget is just a flower of words, an emulation of dreams and a dry spell of slogans. Looking at the financial condition of the state, it is doubtful how many of these things will bear fruit. Budgeting lacks vision and reality.

Budget is a game of numbers and is nothing but announcement of big big numbers. This budget is meaningless and misleading to the people and the budget is just a shower of slogans.

Flowers of words and figures have been flowered in the budget. Many announcements were made which could not come true. Keeping the upcoming elections in mind, it seems that a desperate attempt has been made in the budget to sway the votes.
