Flyover work completed at Chhedanagar; Mankhurd to Thane journey is faster

The work of 1 thousand 235 meters long flyover at Chhedanagar has been completed. After this bridge is opened for traffic
The journey from Mankhurd to Thane will be faster.
Vehicles coming from East Freeway have to get stuck in a traffic jam at Chhedanagar Junction. Hence, MMRDA undertook the Chheda Nagar Traffic Improvement Project.
Under this project, three flyovers and one subway are being constructed in Chheda Nagar. The first of these three-lane bridge is 680 meters long and is on the route connecting Shiv and Thane. The second two-lane 1,235 meter long flyover is on the route connecting Mankhurd and Thane. Whereas, the third 638 meter long Cheda Nagar flyover has been connected to the Santacruz-Chembur road.
