Opposition parties walk out protesting the state government
Mumbai, Dt. 20
Alleging that the government is insensitively handling the state government employees’ strike along with the farmers’ issue, opposition party members walked out of the Assembly today.
Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar said that the farmers in the state are in trouble due to unseasonal rains and the government employees are also on strike, so the work of assessing the damage has stopped. While the state is caught in a double dilemma of unseasonal rains and hailstorm-hit farmers, ruling party MLAs are making controversial statements that 95 percent of government employees have haram income.
Government employees have the right to demand their rights, but Pawar also made an emotional appeal to the employees of the affected areas to report to work to provide relief to Baliraja when the state is in crisis.
