Borivali incident: Boyfriend arrested for killing girlfriend

Borivali incident, further investigation by Dahisar police

Amey Darekar was arrested by the Dahisar police on Thursday for trying to kill his girlfriend by pushing her down from the tank of the building. The court has sent him to four days police custody. Meanwhile, Priangi Singh, who was seriously injured, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. Priyangi’s father Munish Singh had filed a complaint in Dindoshi police station in this regard. Dahisar police is conducting further investigation in this matter.

According to the police, the accused Amey Darekar and the injured girl Priangi Singh are known to each other and are in a romantic relationship. On Sunday night, Priyangi had gone to meet Amey at his residence in Borivali. There was an argument between them. Enraged, Amey pushed Priyangi down from the tank of the building. Both of them had drunk this time. The incident happened on Sunday.

Meanwhile, after this incident, Darekar and Singh families have made contradictory claims and counterclaims to the police. The Darekar family claims that Priyangi tried to commit suicide and that Amey had nothing to do with the incident. Singh says that my daughter did not fall from the building or committed suicide.
