A commercial play called ‘Charchaughi’ was staged on the day of Gudi Padva in the newly constructed Demokratar Annabhau Sathe Theater in South Mumbai by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. This theater has 750 seats.
The theater has been set up near the Veermata Jijabai Bhosle Park and Zoological Museum in Byculla East.
Directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni and written by Prashant Dalvi, the drama stars Rohini Hattangadi, Mukta Barve, Kadambari Kadam, Parn Pethe, Ninad Limaye, Shreyas Raje, Partha Ketkar.
Additional Municipal Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) Ashwini Bhide, Deputy Commissioner of Circle One Dr. Smt Sangeeta Hassanale and dramalovers were present.
