Bad Civil Score, Girl refuses to marry
A shocking case has come to light in Murtijapur, àMaharashtra. Here the talks which reached the final aq of marriage broke down only because the groom’s CIBIL score (credit score) was low.
Actually, the discussion of marriage was going on between two families of Murtijapur for a long time. The boy and the girl had liked each other and both the families were also in agreement about the rest of the marriage formalities. As soon as the marriage was about to be confirmed, the girl’s maternal uncle suddenly demanded to see the boy’s CIBIL score.
When the groom’s CIBIL score was checked, everyone was shocked. The report revealed that the boy had taken loans from many banks and his financial condition was not strong. Seeing this, the girl’s maternal uncle and family refused the marriage. The girl’s maternal uncle said, if the boy is already in debt, then how will our daughter’s future be insecure.
Earlier things like gotra, kundali, job and social status were considered important for marriage, but now financial stability and CIBIL score have also become an important factor. This incident is proof that in today’s time, not only job or income, but also the financial management ability of a person has started to matter in relationships. This incident gives the message to the society that financial responsibility has become very important not only for banking but also in social life.
