Mumbai, Date 10 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s ‘Adarsh Shiksha Paur Puraskar’ for 2021-22 was presented to 50 exemplary teachers by Mumbai City Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar on Thursday. The form of this award is Rs.10 thousand each, certificate, memento.
The program was organized at the Penguin Hall of Veermata Jijabai Bhosle Botanical Garden and Zoo, Byculla (East).
Additional Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide, MLA Yamini Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner (Education) Keshav Ubale, Education Officer Rajesh Kankal, Education Officer Raju Tadvi, Deputy Director (Education) Sandeep Sangve and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
Ashwini Bhide asserted that the role of teachers is important in imparting quality education, and teachers will take advantage of all available facilities to impart knowledge, thereby improving the lives of students.
