Southwest Monsoon has entered Andaman. Conditions are favorable for advance of Monsoon over South Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and some other parts of Andaman and Nicobar in the next three to four days.

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had said that Southwest Monsoon will arrive in Andaman later than usual. Monsoon enters Andaman on 22 May. But this year monsoon has entered Andaman three days earlier. This monsoon is likely to enter Kerala on June 4.
Meanwhile, according to the forecast of Skymet, a private organization, monsoon is likely to arrive in Maharashtra from June 9 to 15.
