Panchvati – Trimbakeshwar Corridor should be developed like Kashi Corridor

MUMBAI: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today asserted that Panchvati-Trimbakeshwar corridor in the state should be developed like the revival of Kashi and Ayodhya.
Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi organized a one-day seminar on ‘Vikas Yatra’ on the topic of ‘New Dimensions of Indian Intellectual Property and Cultural Heritage’ at the auditorium of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Girgaon Chowpatty on Tuesday. Governor Koshyari was speaking at that time.
Nowadays we consider only roads, schools, hospitals, electricity supply as development. But development is the development of mind, intellect and spirit beyond material progress. After many years of independence, due to the efforts of many great men like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Rana Pratap etc., India stands proud in the world once again. People of the world are curious to know about India. In this background, the Governor said that the mother tongue, culture and traditions should be preserved.
Organized in collaboration with Mumbai Devi Adarsh ​​Sanskrit College of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the seminar was inaugurated by Dr Srinivas Varkhedi, Vice Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, Swami Abhishek Brahmachari, President of Sri Karpatri Dham Varanasi, Rohit Kumar Singh, National Coordinator of Yuva Chetna, Dr Girish Jani, Director of Center for Sanskrit Studies of the Bhavan, Dr Ganapati, Principal in Charge. Hegde, students and representatives were present.
A souvenir of the seminar was released by the Governor.
