The result of the Maharashtra power struggle is likely to be announced tomorrow (May 11). 16 MLAs are eligible or ineligible and what is the fate of Shinde-Fadnavis government? Everyone is paying attention to this. This result is going to change the politics of Maharashtra.
The much-awaited result of the Maharashtra power struggle will be announced on Thursday (tomorrow) morning. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Dhananjay Chandrachud has given the same indication.
The issue of disqualification of MLAs, Governor’s order of majority test, scope of powers of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly were being heard in the Supreme Court for the last eight and a half months. A five-judge constitution bench heard the arguments of both sides. As one of the judges of the Constitution Bench is retiring on May 15, the verdict will be delivered tomorrow. The whole country including Maharashtra is paying attention to this result.
When Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was asked to comment on the outcome of tomorrow’s power struggle, he avoided talking about it by saying, I join hands with you.
