It is a great pleasure to see FC Goa this season. A fantastic team and the most consistent club in the ISL in the last six years. My hearty congratulations to FC Goa captain Mandar, his leading goal scorer Koro (Faru Corominas) and the entire country. Squad, coaching staff and management to win ISL League Shield for the first time, ”said Ambani.
Goa last hosted the 2015 ISL final between Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa, with the home team losing 2-1 90 minutes in a dramatic manner.
