Community does not develop only by giving reservation – Nitin Gadkari
( Shivam Dubey )
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the notion of giving reservation to a community and developing it at the earliest is wrong.
At this time some leaders demanded that the Mali community get more representation in politics. He said that Mali community leaders should get priority in the allocation for the assembly elections. To this Nitin Gadkari said, “There is a demand in every society. We should find a place in politics, we should get a ministerial society.” But I say very clearly that once a man becomes the minister of a particular society, he does not have to develop the same society.
When people fail to get candidacy on their own duty, they forward the caste card. It is wrong to assume that all development takes place through reservation. Duty also develops. Therefore, we should give importance to the work that we do, ”said Gadkari. It is good that there is no reservation in our caste, otherwise I would have become a father somewhere.
We have to create leaders who will bring the country to development, who will work for the development of the state. The Mali community demands that the Bharat Ratna be given to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule. Gadkari also assured that I will try my best for this.
