CM Fadnavis met Union Minister Amit Shah and Harsh vardhan in Delhi on various State issue
State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan in Delhi on Thursday and discussed the issues related to the state including the status of drought in states.
According to information received from the official sources, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis informed the Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the steps taken by the state government to deal with water scarcity. Many parts of the state, especially Marathwada region, are in the grip of drought. Water level in Marathwada reservoirs has gone down considerably.
The Chief Minister also informed the Union Home Minister Shah about the security situation in Gadchiroli, where the suspected Maoists had killed 15 policemen last month by blasting the IED. This was the first meeting of the Fadnavis after the formation of the Union Home Minister last week.
Chief Minister Fadnavis also met the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan and demanded 10 percent reservation for students of economically weaker sections in the state, He also demanded to increase medical seats in state government Medical colleges.
