Bouncing back non-stop, massive downpour bothers Mumbai injuring eight; IMD estimates a high-tide by 16 hours today

Approaching insecurity after a couple of weeks, heavy downpour in Mumbai has again commanded over the routine life style of people, injuring around 8 post 3 cars collided amid die to low visibility.

Andheri area in Mumbai, being worst affected due to heavy rains, the IMD on Wednesday morning has predicted a heavy rainfall for the next two days, calling a cyclonic circulation around the maximum city.

Following this, the suburban train services although running on all four corridors of Central Railway, there is a delay of 10 to 15 minutes on the main line between Kurla and Sion, due to waterlogging in low lying areas of this section, as confirmed by the Central Railway Public Relations Officer.

The heavy downpour started at around 5:30 am following which mild showers continued. Meanwhile, the IMD has further estimated a high-tide at around 4:24 pm, with waves rising up to 3.75 meters, also spelling heavy rain in Maharashtra’s Raigad and Ratnagiri districts.
