Indian Telecom Pensioners Sangh (affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) was pursuing the issue of increase in pension in BSNL, in the background of which Hon’ble Shri Ashwini Vaipnav Telecom Minister Govt of India held a discussion with the Sangh delegation in New Delhi. Hon’ble Minister has assured about 15% increase in pension for about 3 lakh retired workers.
The delegation of BDPS (affiliated Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) General Secretary Shri Hari Sowani, Dharamraj Singh MTNL Mazdoor Sangh General Secretary, RC Pandey General Secretary BTEU (BSNL) VV Satyanarayana President BTEU ( BSNL) Girish Arya Secretary Bhamsangh was present.
At this time, it has been demanded to discuss the issues of the contract workers in the industry and give justice to the contract workers.
Ever since the Indian Telecom Pensioners Sangh was formed in 2020, it has been continuously pursuing to make the pension center in BSNL similar to that of government employees. The organization first of all made this demand in October 2020 to Hon’ble Home Minister Amit Shah.
