Mumbai, Dt. 8
The increased monthly service charge levied on cessed buildings of ‘MHADA’ in Mumbai has been cancelled. Devendra Fadnavis announced this while replying to a question asked by BJP MLA And Ashish Shelar.
Fadnavis also clarified that redevelopment plan will be implemented soon for these buildings which have become dangerous.
Property tax waived off for 500 square feet houses in Mumbai. Even houses in slums are not subject to property tax. We give them a house in redevelopment. Then why this tax only for the cessed buildings of MHADA? MLA Ashish Shelar had requested that it be waived or nominally accepted.
