The three-day third meeting of the G20 Energy Transition Working Group under the chairmanship of India will begin in Mumbai from Monday. The meeting will be attended by more than hundred representatives of member countries, specially invited guest countries, International Energy Organization, World Bank, Indian World Energy Council etc.
The meeting will be chaired by Alok Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Government of India. Secretary of the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, Secretary of the Ministry of Mines Vivek Bhardwaj, Secretary of the Ministry of Coal Amrit Lal Meena will be present in this meeting.
Union Minister of State for Railways, Coal and Mines Raosaheb Danve will guide the meeting on the first day.
Symposiums, seminars, workshops etc. will be held on topics such as fair energy transition pilot scheme, biofuels, onshore wind.
