Swamini Savarkar passed away

Swamini Savarkar, mother of Ranjit Savarkar, the working president of the Freedom Fighter Savarkar National Memorial, passed away here at an advanced age. She was 84 years old.
Freedom hero Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s younger brother Dr. Narayan Damodar Savarkar’s dauther in law.
Swamini Savarkar’s eldest son Prithviraj Savarkar passed away a few years ago. Along with her husband Vikram Savarkar, she also managed the newspaper ‘Prajwalant’ and the Maharashtra Military School in Murbad, where she lived with her younger son Ranjit Savarkar.
Last week, Swamini Savarkar was admitted to the hospital due to sudden deterioration in her health.
