Municipal action against the contractors who did not perform the drain cleaning works properly

The Thane Municipal Administration has initiated action against the contractors who have not done the drainage works properly. A fine of Rs 8 lakh 50 thousand has been imposed on the contractors.

TMC administration has taken punitive action against contractors in Kalwa, Mumbra, Diva, Kopri and Uthalsar areas. A few days ago, action was taken by the municipal administration to blacklist a contractor who was doing the work of drain cleaning.

Due to this, the contractors who did not complete the work within the stipulated time and who were making mistakes in the drain cleaning work.
