Completion of ambitious sea bridge direct connection to mainland

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his belief here today that the Mumbai Parbandar or ‘MTHL’ project will bring economic prosperity.
Under the Mumbai Parbandar project, the ambitious sea bridge ‘MTHL’ was directly connected to the mainland by Chief Minister Shinde and in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. At that time Chief Minister Shinde was speaking.

Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister announced that this ambitious project will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This project is going to change the socio-economic situation in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Raigad districts. It was a big challenge to realize this sea bridge. But it was met with a team spirit. This bridge will further connect Mumbai-Pune Expressway, and Mumbai-Goa route. Chief Minister Shinde said that this will lead to the development of educational, industrial and service sectors in the region known as Third Mumbai.

This sea bridge will be considered a marvel of engineering. For the past thirty-five years, such a bridge was only in discussion. Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis said that he is happy that it is now being completed with the vision and support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On this occasion MP Rahul Shewale, Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development Department Bhushan Gagrani, Commissioner of MMRDA S.V.R. Srinivas, Head of the Commercial Embassy of Japan in Mumbai Dr. Fukahori Yasukata, Iva Moto, India Head of “JICA”, Engineers, Technical Officers, Staff, Laborers from L&T, Daewoo, AECH who shaped the project were present.
