MHA Shah calls to keep up India’s internal and external security heading to $5 trillion
Waking ahead in the economic and political complexities rising in India, MHA Amit Shah on Wednesday stressed up on the importance of maintaining India’s internal and external security to achieve PM Modi’s goal of making the country a $5-trillion economy.

“Modi ji wants to make India a $5-trillion economy, and put it among the world’s top three. But economic progress is not possible without securing the country. There is need to maintain external security and law and order in the states”, said while addressing the delegates at the 49th Foundation Day celebrations of the Bureau of Police Research and Development.

Shah further said that over 34,000 personnel had sacrificed their lives to maintain law and order within the country lending credibility to the Police Force, and urged policemen to carry forward the good work done by their colleagues.

Meanwhile, he also informed of the Police University and the Forensic Science University to be set up at the national level. “There will be colleges affiliated to it in every state. Bureau of Police Research & Development has sent a draft regarding this, it’ll be placed before the cabinet soon”, he affirmed.
