Maharashtra Bhushan’ award for 2022 announced to senior cinematographer Appasaheb Dharmadhikari
The ‘Maharashtra Bhushan’ award for 2022 has been announced to senior illustrator and social activist Appasaheb Dharmadhikari. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced this on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister sealed the recommendation made by the Maharashtra Bhushan Selection Committee. After that, the Chief Minister also met Appasaheb at Revdanda on Wednesday.
This social work was started by his father Dr. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari from 1943 and today Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is doing the same work.

Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is also known as the ‘Envoy of Cleanliness’.
