Mumbaikars have received little response to the ‘Incovac’ vaccine which is supposed to be taken in Nakawate. Only 89 people in Mumbai have taken this vaccine.
According to the guidelines of the state government, it was decided to give ‘Incovac’ vaccine as a booster dose to citizens above 60 years of age from 28 April 2023.
According to this, citizens above 60 years of age who have completed six months of taking the second dose of ‘Covishield’ or ‘Covaxin’ have been given as a booster dose of ‘Incovac’ vaccine. This vaccine has been made available at 24 corona vaccination centers of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
But in the last 20 days there has been very little response to taking the booster dose.
