Govt will provide civil services from ration shops – Food and Civil Supplies Minister Raveedra Chavan

All civil services like nationalized banks, India Post Payments Bank, Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, Government of India and private banks will be provided from all ration and fair price shops in the state, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ravidra Chavan informed in a press conference today.

Chavan also said that there are about 50,000 ration/fair price shops in the state and the people of the city and rural areas will benefit from it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India Post Payments Bank with a vision to become the most accessible, affordable and reliable bank in the country. Fund transfer, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Bill Payment, RTGS etc. facilities are provided by this bank. He said that these services will be started on this basis.
