Dombivli, Dt. 11
‘Nandirang’ program was organized in Dombivli to mark the birth centenary of Tabla player Dhananjaya Puranik, Samvadini player Vinod Puranik’s father late Vishnupant Kashinath Puranik and senior editor, playwright late Vidyadhar Gokhale.
The program which was held at Sarvesh Auditorium started with Nandi, Panchtund Narrund from Sangeet Shakuntal play. Later, Sangeet Saubhadra, Sangeet Sharda, Manapaman Vidyaharan, Swayamvar, Shakkalol and Hon. Krishnarao Phulmbrikar’s music from the play Kanhopatra and Vidyadhar Gokhale’s Madanachi Manjiri and Jai Jai Gaurishankar’s play Nandi were performed.

Singers Gauri Phadke, Bhagwant Kulkarni, Abhijit Kaskhedikar, Anuja Vartak, Asawari Puranik, Prachi Joshi, Anuradha Kelkar, Ashwini Joshi, Mansi Marathe, Sharwari Gokhale, Smriti Kane, Bhagyashree Parvatikar, Saili Kajrolkar, Ashwini Purohit, Akanksha Athavale, Seema Godbole performed Nandi. and performed plays.
It included plays such as Vaad jau kunin, Swakar Shaath, Manaramana, Rituraj Aaj, Levu Keshi Valkala, Jai Gange Bhagirathi, Lagi Karezwa, Priyakara Nase.
The program was moderated by Amrita Dixit. The entire program was presented under the guidance of Aparna Hegde. Music was by Dhananjaya Puranik (Tabla), Vinod Puranik (Organ).
Shubda Pavgi and Mr. Shrikant Pavgi, Dr. Sunil Bhalerao, Dr. Chinmoy Pataki, Ravi Ponkshe of Heramb Musical Foundation etc. were present on this occasion.
