Central Railway’s chief ticket inspector nab fake ticket examiner

Central Railway’s Chief Ticket Inspector Shri N B Sakpal helped nab a fake ticket examiner, while supervising his team of ticket examiners working at Dadar station on 13.11.2019.

Shri Sakpal Chief Ticket Inspector/CSMT noticed one person checking tickets and immediately recognised him to be an unknown person. He confronted the said person and questioned him about his identity. Further interrogation revealed that the name of the person was Gautam Vishwas Sahasrabudhe (Circled in the photogragh) and he was not a ticket examiner.

The person has been prosecuted and action has been taken as per rules.

Shri Sakpal’s quick thinking and presence of mind has not only helped nab an impersonator but also has helped to protect the image of Central Railway and also save railway revenue. He will be suitably rewarded for the same.
