Bank strike: Operations hit in Telangana
Banking operations at public sector banks came to a standstill in Telangana on Friday as more than 60,000 employees, including officials, participated in a call for a two-day strike given by the pressure amendment of the unions, among other demands.

Rambabu said that employees of more than six thousand branches demonstrated in different cities of Telangana.
A Reserve Bank official said that although they did not participate in the strike, some employees expressed solidarity and participated in demonstrations organized by the agitating employees in the city. As Sunday is a holiday for banks, normal services will be restored only after February 3.
