Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced in a joint press conference on Monday that ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar Gaurav Yatra’ will be held in all assembly constituencies of the state to protest against Rahul Gandhi who insulted freedom hero Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
MLAs, MPs, office bearers and activists of the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will participate in the yatra and the work of freedom fighter Savarkar who contributed in many fields will also be highlighted in the yatra, said Shinde and Fadnavis.
