17962 kg Nirmalya collected in Dombivli during Ganesh Visarjan

On behalf of ‘Nirmal Youth Foundation’, an organization in Dombivli, this year also like past year’s, on the dates of 08, 11, 12 and 17 September 2024, during Ganesh immersion, about 17962 kg of Nirmalya and 8637 kg of other solid waste were collected from all the immersion centers in Dombivli and handed over to the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation Governence.

It was done under the guidance of Nirmal Youth Foundation President Akshata Auti and with the initiative of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation officials and other employees and Paryavaran Dakshata Manch.

The aim of doing this work is to keep the natural water source clean and waste management, and the Nirmal Youth Foundation, organization has been working on this environment-friendly program since 2016.

The participation of the students of (National Service Scheme) NSS unit of The SIA College and NSS unit of Pragati College in this work was also seen enthusiastically. Members of the organization Priya Gupta, Preeti Gupta, Viraj Thorat, Chaitanya Loke, Sneha Talawadekar, Shailendra Sathe coordinated the very best practice representing around 7 natural ghats and 5 artificial ponds.

Everyone is appreciating this. Also, all the devotees were appealed to celebrate the environment-friendly festival.
