Young woman preparing for police recruitment was raped by police sub-inspector

Pune: The Shivajinagar police have registered a case against a police sub-inspector for raping and threatening a young woman who was preparing for police recruitment.

In the complaint filed by the young woman, it has been stated that the sub-inspector threatened the young woman and induced her to perform an abortion in a hospital in Jamkhed area. The name of the sub-inspector who registered the case is Kiran Manik Mahamuni (age 38, resident of Nagpur).

She was introduced to Mahamuni. He lured her into a love trap and raped her. Mahamuni repeatedly raped her at her house in Shivajinagar area. The young woman became pregnant.

He then took her to a hospital in Jamkhed area of ​​Nagar district. The young woman has said in the complaint that she was threatened and had an abortion there.
