Veteran actress and interviewer Tabassum passed away

Veteran actress and popular interviewer Tabassum passed away on Friday night due to cardiac arrest. She was 78 years old. She was an interviewer for the popular program ‘Phul Khile Hai Gulshan Gulshan’ on Mumbai Doordarshan.
A few days ago, Tabassum was admitted to the hospital due to her health deterioration. After the treatment, she returned home. During treatment, he suffered two heart attacks and died, his family said.
Tabassum started her acting career as a child artist in 1947. Worked as a child actor in the movie ‘Nargis’. After that, he also played the childhood role of Meena Kumari in the movie ‘Baiju Bawra’.

He acted in many films like ‘Hir Ranza’, ‘Gambler’, ‘Johnny Mera Naam’, ‘Tere Mere Sapne’, ‘Surasangam’, ‘Agnipath’, ‘Nache Mayuri’. He anchored the show Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Mumbai Doordarshan for 21 consecutive years.
