Take stringent action against the religious fanatics who are disturbing religious harmony in this country !

*Attackers on Ram Navami processions are the descendants of idol-breaker Mughals !* – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

Ram Navami was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm all over the country, but there have been incidents of stone-pelting and serious attacks on the processions at some places in many States.

The attacks were carried out by religious fanatics in many States such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bengal, etc. On one hand, the communists, secularists, and the progressive factions demand action against Hindus Saints and ‘Dharmacharya’ accusing them of increasing tension and communalism in the country,

while the same people keep quiet when there are attacks by religious fanatics on Hindus during their festivals. We all know the history of idol-breaker Mughals. During Mughal invasions, they attacked, destroyed, and desecrated millions of Hindu temples in India.

They also attacked thousands of temples and built mosques over them. Recently, the Supreme Court has decided on one case of Shriram Janmabhoomi, but when the foundation of Shriram Mandir was being built,

a few religious fanatics attacked the processions taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami in different parts of the country. It is a serious matter and the Central Government should immediately take note of it. Nobody should try Hindus’ patience now.

The people, who attacked Ram Navami processions, are the descendants of idol-breaker Mughals and the guilty should be stringently punished, is the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

The incidents happening all over the country during Hindu festivals are quite infuriating, but nothing much seems to be discussed in the mainstream media about the same. Only in the last week, the procession taken out by Hindus on the occasion of New Year was brutally attacked by religious fanatics at Karauli in Rajasthan.

Many Hindu shopkeepers from that place are planning to sell their shops and go somewhere else. What happened with Hindus in 1990 in Kashmir, seems to be happening now even in other places in India. There have been instances of similar attacks during Navratri and other Hindu festivals.

At JNU, not only is the birth anniversary of a demon like ‘Mahishasura’ celebrated but slogans are raised to divide India further into pieces. The slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Ram Navami Puja’ are,

however, not tolerated. Some violence was reported at JNU only yesterday. Considering all these occurrences all over the country, it seems to be a well-planned conspiracy.

HJS is, therefore, making an appeal to the Hon. Central Home Minister Amit Shah ji to conduct an in-depth inquiry into all such incidents.
