Remove the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission who abuses the position
-Demand of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Mumbai- The Hindu Janajagruti Committee has demanded that State Women’s Commission President Rupali Chakankar, who is dereliction of duty by using her position for political purposes and neglecting the matters of her own party, should be immediately removed from this post and an impartial person should be appointed as the chairperson of the Women’s Commission.
This demand has been made in a statement sent to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Why did not the Women’s Commission take a strict stand on the recent sexual abuse of many minor girls in a church-run orphanage in Navi Mumbai?
When women accused Dhananjay Munde, why was there no attempt to give justice to that woman? NCP MLA Amol Mitkari publicly insulted all women by saying ‘Mum Bharya Samarpayami…’ in his speech, why the commission did not issue notice to him? Director Anurag Kashyap, during the promotion of the film ‘Dobara’, made a very disrespectful statement about actress Taapsee Pannu saying ‘My chest is bigger than her’, our State Commission for Women President did not dare to send a notice to him either; However, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti says that Sambhaji Bhide Guruji’s statement about molesting a woman journalist is being deliberately targeted.
Basically, as the previous attempt to implicate Bhide Guruji in the Bhima-Koregaon case failed, this attempt to harass Bhide Guruji is going on in Yenken way. Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh state organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Sunil Ghanwat has said that it is unacceptable to throw dust on a sage like a person who took Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as an ideal throughout his life, spread his ideas, behaved according to Hindu culture, taught the youth to respect women.
