Pneumonia Disease Prevention Campaignby Municipal Corporation

Pneumonia prevention campaign has been started by Public Health Department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation as per the directives of Central and State Governments. This campaign will continue till February 28, 2023.

In this initiative, the children in the outpatient department coming to the municipal hospitals, maternity homes, suburban hospitals and medical college hospitals will be examined, treated and guided.

If symptoms such as cough, cold, rapid breathing, fever etc. are found in children, parents should contact the nearest health center, clinic, maternity hospital and hospital for further treatment.
Executive Health Officer of the Municipal Corporation Dr. Mangala Gomare has made such an appeal.
