NCB seized 50 kg medicine worth 120 crores; Two arrested including former Air India pilot

The Narcotics Control Bureau has taken a big action in Mumbai. Information is coming out that NCB has seized 50 kg ‘Mephedrone’ (MD drugs) from a godown in Mumbai. The NCB, while investigating the matter further, has arrested two people, including a former pilot of Air India.

According to the information received, NCB has seized 50 kg ‘Mephedrone’ from Mumbai. Both the accused arrested by the police are residents of Mumbai. The leader of this gang has already been arrested on charges of mandrake smuggling. Earlier, 4 people were arrested from Jamnagar in Gujarat. Pilot is also an accused in this case.

When the police further investigated the matter, it was found that both Mumbai and Jamnagar are part of the same drug cartel. A total of 50 kg of narcotic substances have been seized, which is worth Rs 120 crore. Arrested accused Sohail Ghaffar has taken pilot training from America. He has previously worked with Air India.

Sohail Ghaffar had quit the pilot job a few years back due to medical reasons.

According to officials, this cartel has distributed 225 kg MD medicines in the market. So far 60 kg have been recovered from him.
