Mumbai: Man arrested with 1.5 kg ganja at Metro station
On Thursday, a man was arrested after he was found carrying 1.5 kg of hemp at the Ghatkopar Metro railway station. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankit Goyal (Zone X) said, “Pansare lives in Versova, Mumbai. After landing at the Ghatkopar Metro railway station, he was found carrying 1.5 kg of hemp during a security check.”

A police officer said that accused Shailesh Pansare (29) was arrested late on Wednesday night.
“We are trying to find the source of the hemp and there are plans to supply,” he said. The officer said the accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
