Major road accident at Mumbai’s Bandra Worli Sea Link, 5 killed

At least 13 people were injured when four cars and an ambulance collided on Mumbai’s Bandra Worli Sea Link. In which 5 people seriously injured have died. At the same time 8 people are undergoing treatment.

The accident took place when an ambulance and four cars collided on the south side of Bandra Worli Sea Link at around 2.20 am on Wednesday.

Five people were killed and eight were injured when an ambulance and four cars collided on the south side of the Bandra Worli Sea Link in Mumbai early Wednesday.

The incident happened around 2.20 am between pole numbers 76 and 78. 13 people were injured in the accident and were taken to nearby hospitals. Five of the 10 injured (male) who were taken to B Y L Nair Hospital were declared dead by the doctors even before admission.

And two women and a man have been admitted to this hospital for treatment. Two others were treated for minor injuries and were discharged.

Three people, including the Sea Link security guard injured in the accident, have been taken to three different hospitals – Global Hospital, Lilavati Hospital and Saifee Hospital.
