Kalyan: Many questions raised after the firing incidentWhy shouldn’t their licenses be cancelled?

Kalyan- After famous film actor Govinda, Kalyan’s builder Mangesh Gaikar accidentally fired a bullet. Both of them got injured in this firing.

These two incidents, which happened after a very short interval, have raised numerous questions about the famous personalities holding licensed revolvers. Which are also justified in the present time.

According to the information received, the case of both Govinda and Mangesh Gaikar is the same. Both have said in their statements to the police that they accidentally fired the bullet and the accident happened.

In the incident of Govinda, he was cleaning the revolver in the morning and he did not even realize that there was a bullet in the revolver. Suddenly the trigger of the revolver got pressed and the bullet touched Govinda’s thigh and went out.

According to what has come to light in the case of Mangesh Gaikar, he was sitting with his business friends in his office. He had a revolver in his hand. Suddenly a bullet was fired from the revolver and after touching his hand it hit the glass in the office.

In this accident, Mangesh’s son Shamal Gaikar also got injured by the glass. Now the question arises that when such people are allowed to keep a licensed revolver for their own safety,

then why are they not told the ways of using that revolver? There should also be a rule to cancel the license of those who do not follow the standards set for licensed revolvers.

because due to the mistake of these license holders, someone’s life can be lost and even the life of the person holding the revolver can be at risk.

By the way, when the revolver and its license are issued, then the revolver holder is given training about the revolver which is of about a week.

Even in such a situation, if those who keep revolvers for their pride do not understand the seriousness, then their license should be canceled directly because it is a fire weapon and not a toy pistol given to small children on Diwali.

Overall, the Kalyan incident and the Mumbai incident before that have raised many questions about licensed revolver holders. The Home Ministry will have to think seriously about this.
